The Ripon Repair Café was in session for the first time on Saturday July 12th, and was an enormous hit. They report queues out the door within the first hour, which shows the how significant this event was to the local area. In total, 28 items were brought for repair during the three hour period – a great number for the cafe’s first outing. There are already talks of another session being scheduled in the next couple of months, perhaps starting and ending an hour earlier, in order to cater for those who want to get in with their repairs early, But what a fantastic result for Ripon’s new community venture
